Sri Kurmanatha swamy (meaning Tortoise) is Lord Vishnu’s second incarnation during Satya Yuga. The Kurmanathaswamy temple, also known as Srikurmam temple (or) Srikurma, Kurmanatha temple. It is located in Srikurmam village, Srikakulam district in Andhrapradesh state, India.
The major festival celebrated in the temple is the three-day Dolotsavam. Kamadahanam is celebrated on the first day, followed by Padiya and Dolotsavam. The annual Kalyanostavam is celebrated on Vaisakha Suddha Ekadasi. Other festive activities include Kurma Jayanthi on Jyeshta Bahula Dwadasi and Mukkoti Ekadasi.
Dolotsavam at Sri Kurmam Temple will begin on March 22.
